Mail-in Modification Service for Presonus Monitor Station V1 or V2

On these units we offer an excellent upgrade that features an entire audio path upgrade using Burr Brown amps, premium audio capacitors for noise reduction as well as audio coupling and power supply modifications for longevity and lower noise. 

Stock these are a good units for the money but certainly are not as good as High end units with some funneling and a noise that masks the audio. 

The units tend to sound fairly bland, lack warmth and have poor frequency extension, headroom and detail making mixing more diffcult and time comsuming. 

The circuit uses a number of standard performance Quad amps thruout (TL074) SmD that have notoriously high noise floors and poor frequency response, but are somewhat musical with there Fet architecture. 

First thing we do, We install high performance Burr Brown amps in all of the amp stages in the audio path for optimal bandwidth, detail and headroom.

This really increases the frequency extension of the audio with a lot better low end, more low end and top end detail. 

Things sound less funneled and harsh as the audio approaches 0db and headroom alike. 

We then go further and perform a number of audio coupling modifications and noise de-coupling modifications to lower the noise and increase the headroom while maximizing the bandwidth.

The result is excellent in its price range and sounds round, warm and detailed. 

Then finally we perform a power supply modification for maximum bandwidth and headroom. 

With the modifications we get a lot more bandwidth, lower noise, cleaner and larger audio with a lot more headroom.
The modifications really help to see inside the mix with excellent detail.

Overall musicality is improved significantly in both packages and the audio image becomes clearer, smoother and well defined just like you would expect from a Revive Audio modified piece.
