About the Modifications

First we remove the low quality cabling and install a 2ft Mogami/Nuetrik connector/cabling for better audio quality.

Next we remove a number of components in the basket to provide better response from the ribbon element.

(The design has a number of filters in the basket that cause ringing and muffled detail.)

Stock, these manufacturing decisions result in poor audio quality due to the elements used around the element.

Then, Dampening is applied around the Motor and a Tasty Cinemag Transformer is installed for a warmer and smoother and broader response at the mic output.
